Millie was in some caves in Brownshill deep underground. The Firebrigade came out and then a caving club was contacted in S Wales, and luckily one of their members was close by in the Stroud area, he came over and got her out. What a fantastic ending. Well done to the Firebrigade and the caving club , Huge thanks for saving Millie who has been to the vets and is fine after her ordealLast edited: 2013-12-19 22:55:03 by Mollychops

Thanks Caroline. Millie ran off on a walk , about 1000m from her house, so she would have known the way back , She may have gone to ground, but unlikely as their other dog hadn't and he came back. This was yesterday morning and nothing since. Millie is a rescue dog, and owners are trying to find out from the rescue if she is chipped or not. Im emailing advice sheets and link to poster now. In the meantime, I Will send the poster to Teckells and Cheltenham Dogs home, incase Millie has been handed in there.
