- The owner emailed me this today - very interesting !
"I did recover my dog quickly but I would not have been notified by the dog warden if I had not phoned.......
My dog is microchipped but the black collar she wears is magnetic because she is a bit stiff.
The magnet blocks the chip scanner
Sasha appeared to be un chipped because of this
As soon as we removed the collar the microchip read perfectly
