Another update from Gizzy's owner:

Hi love we are both well Gizzy did not have the op the vet thinks he his doing fine as he is so he has put the op off for now. He will be looked at every 7 days if he keeps on like this he will not need one so we keep our fingers crossed . Hope you had a good christmas and hope you have a wonderful new year and thank you for all you have done for us we will not forget it I really can not thank you enough xxx

Just had an update from Gizzy's owner, will hear more tomorrow so I'll keep you posted x

Gizzy is doing wonderful I got him home and he is fine he can walk ok but wobbles a bit . He is much happier now he is with me we go back to the vets tomorrow so we shall see what happens then, thank you all for your concern and support it has been a great comfort at this time and there are still some good people out there :)xxx

Another update!!

Julie has just called me back, her friend has offered to pay for the procedure and Gizzy has his operation on Friday. Julie is overwhelmed by everyone's support and would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone.

Gizzy may be allowed home for Christmas, but will have to stay on crate rest. Wishing you a very speedy recovery Gizzy, hope you soon feel better and Merry Christmas xxx

Thanks everyone :) The vets wanted to talk to me about it too so I've just spoke with them, she needs to clear it with one of the directors, but it shouldn't be a problem, and I've to call back this afternoon. Will post details asap x

Just had a call from Gizzy's owner, he needs an operation which the PDSA cannot do for one reason or another. He would need this done at his own vets but it's going to cost £2000, which unfortunately, they haven't got :( x

Yes its him just on way to pdsa he has a broken pelvis but he is ok and a very big thank you to all who helped find him XXX

Owner is still waiting to hear if the found dog is Gizzy. The out of hours number puts them through to a different vets, and they do not know anything about him. So unfortunately, they have to wait until Monday morning.
All crossed this little doggy is Gizzy and he is ok x
