Still thinking about this handsome young boy. If you haven't done this already, might be worth contacting Cavalier Club Rescue and emailing Charlie's photo. The coordinator is Mrs Jan Pagan, tel:01245 320488. The number for northern rescue is 0191 4604495, Mrs Gillhespy. Good luckxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

My heart jumped too Doglover when I saw the same in found, but, that little chap is a Tricolour, Charlie is a Blenheim, so sadly it's not him. I've tried to get intouch with finders, but no luck as yetLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Lots are thinking of you- Never give up hope - He is chipped and if you read it is that fact that have reunited so many dogs after many months, even years, although i hope it is not that long you have to waitLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dogs are not, to our knowledge, smuggled to Ireland. Please ignore this advice. dogs are not permitted to travel in vehicles on ferries to Ireland and are unlikely to be able to be hidden simply behind curtains. We have no evidence of this being the case. Volcano - do these travellers have Tammy if you are claiming they have Buster? Inform us immediately if you have information that may lead to her recovery - or that of Charlie.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hope you get good news soon, keep postering ,try any local schools too as children are often good at spotting 'stray' dogs. It does sound as if he is lost and wandering rather than stolen. Take your advice from 'cavlady' and she will help you. Best of luckLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

addition they were discovered with a blenhiem dog buster who was taken with another female dog who has not been recovered so feel that they will be looking for another also please inform all ports where ships go to ireland inform them these dogs are being taken illegally over there in the back of vans usually with no windows in they are covered over to keep them quite i will be asking wakefield police what they are doing i know these travellers will be looking for a dog to cover the one that was taken with buster.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We are the owners of charlie and had a phone call to say he might have been seen in the moor grange/hawksworth estate area of Leeds Sun 4th at lunch time, the couple who saw him could not catch hold of him. They seem to think he was lost. When we drove over there there was no sight of him. The couple took some posters and are going to keep a good look out. If anyone lives in the area could they keep a look out too. A big thankyou for all your comments and ideas.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to Charlie's owners this afternoon, who are obviously still very distressed I suggested that they visit local pubs and ask if they can put up posters, especially the ones close to the Travellers site, as the posters they've put up close to the site were torn down........ Is there anyone who lives in the surrounding area of Morely that could help with putting up posters?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Any news yet. I live in LS27 and have printed the poster although I suspect my vets will already know. If Charlie's owners want to contact me at all I will be happy to speak with them if only to be someone to vent their frustrations on. I work for the Police and will also keep my eyes peeled on the lost/found dog register there. Fingers crossed that he's home soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
