Which park did he go missing in, Weald or Thorndon? I have added your contact details to my phone just in case. While it is true that chips can easily be missed, it is good to see that he is chipped, Far to many dogs are appearing on this site that are niether chipped or tagged, and it costs so little but if a dog does go missing chipping and or tagging can really speed up reuniting dogs with their families, I hope Trigger comes home safe and well soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I've had possible sightings of my Border CollieX, Poppy 10/10/05 in Southweald Country Park area, so will look out there again, as well as the Ongar area near where I live. When looking for Poppy in the park, I came accross a lady who had prerviously taken home another Border Collie, thinking it was lost. She said she reported it to the police but that was all. The owners who lived nearby were lucky to get him back, as the police can make mistakes in recording such details. It could be a similar well meaning person has 'taken him in'. A poster campaign (with pictures) should alert them and keep on pestering the police (go to all stations), wardens, Battersea, Wallace Kennels, Wanderers Haven and so on. Chips are not un-missable so you cant rely on this completely. Good luck! Thinking of you and hope Trigger home soon. Jo xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
