Someone in the village sent an email to the community group today with this message. I wondered if it may have been your dog, I am sorry but I thought you would rather hear this than not.
"Did anyone in the village lose a dog sometime in the last year? Red collar with white spots on it.
It's not good news I'm afraid; I came across a corpse in a newly mown field this morning. It had clearly been there for some time.
Sorry to bring bad news - and by email too. But had I lost a dog, I think I'd prefer to know its fate.
Bob Tonkins"

I am not sure where exactly it was.

Victoria - if you still believe Digby is trapped underground, I believe there are terrier teams who will try and locate him, and dig him out if possible. Don't know which areas these teams work in, but I think this is worth looking into. Hope your Digby is soon found, safe and well. Good luck xx

I have taken his brother to the area every day but still no sightings. Not sure if he is still down there or tried to find own way out. If anyone has any further suggestions I would be grateful as it is now coming up to two weeks he is missing and increasingly worried and want to make sure doing everything possible.

So sorry that Digby is still missing. Have you tried taking his brother (on a lead!) to the fox sett and surrounding area, and see whether he can pick up Digby's scent? Worth a try xx
