- Ellie has now gone to Weimaraner rescue where she will be rehomed. Thank you so much Seeks for all you have done for her.

- Max its because I am looking for Pup that got a weimy lol. She is a beautiful dog she really is. Sweet natured and good with other animals except chicken and possibly sheep.... She looked at mine and I think she would chase them so we have avoided that one.
Hey next time it might be Pup only I think I about to have a gun shy Springer..... but Pup will come back to us I am sure of it just now x
Gino if I am honest I don't know exactly where but its over Cambourne Redruth way. Some of what they told me might be true but some of its rubbish! She had been very neglected and has got a fair bit of muscle wasting also was dehydrated so god knows what has been happening to her but she craves love and knows how to get it so somewhere she has had a good home..... Just not with him.
Glad nobody knows her in one way as it means we can get her her the right home and know she is safe but it would have also been nice to have found someone's baby as I need to find ours xLast edited: 2013-12-29 20:51:44 by Seeks - 2013-12-29 18:46 Gino
- Which postcode area was Ellie found?

- She is a beautiful looking dog. I do hope that if her original owner isn't found, she finds a wonderful new home.
Well done Seeks for looking after her, I guess you have your hands full looking for your pup. - 2013-12-29 15:19 Seeks
- Just up dated her pic as you can see her face and jaw better.... also what a difference 4 days can make, she is really getting back to where she should have been :-)

- Poochpal they are not good owners from start to finish so it wouldn't surprise me even with that jaw.... She is safe now though but just needed to check nobody is looking for her as what I was told is just not adding up at all...
I would love to keep her but weimy rescue can find her a much better home than me, hey least I know it lol - 2013-12-28 19:04 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- It also looks as though she has had pups in the past.

- Julie I was given her (you know the kind of thing have it today or I will put it down!) There was some talk of prelove as well.... She was very poor with muscle wasting so those 'people' had had her a while.... Bless her she clearly has been very loved, it certainly wasn't by them, so I just thought I would check nobody has lost her. x
Poochpal have sent a text as I didn't get an answer. I know its not the other Weimys as you can see the jaw better and El's does have a good half inch over hang. I have to say she is beautiful lol I am the wrong owner though as she is pushing me around a lot ;-)
Weimy rescue will find her the right home and till then she can stay here no problem (unless your a chicken ... he wasn't hurt but the intention was there) I wouldn't trust her too much with sheep either.... she is good with horses and cats though.
I just looked at her today and I know what I have been told is rubbish to some or all degree so thought it was best to just check nobody has lost her a while ago.
Will check for a chip on Monday... as she isn't much older than maybe 3-5 she should be chipped with the docking and yet that doesn't really look like a vet did it.... People eh?! - 2013-12-28 17:37 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- Thanks Seeks for adding her and also for checking through our missing ones. It may be best to give owners a call in case they no longer check the page regularly. Let me know if you would like any help contacting them.

- Great you found her! I have a Weimaraner and dew claws are routinely taken off when the tails docked, which would give an indication as to her age as it's no longer legal to do so (unless they are working dogs). Good you have spoken to Weimaraner Rescue as I was going to suggest you contact them and also post on their website. Where in the South West did you find her? Hope you can reunite her.

- There wasn't room to say all this but just want to check someone hasn't lost her... she really is big but the jaw is a give away if she had been someone else's baby.
She has improved already lol. She was even dehydrated but something didn't feel right so just want to check she was theirs to give me.
