Hi Di and Daz, Many thanks for your email. I have tried sending email to marsh@ntlworld.com but it will not connect, can I ask you to double check email address or maybe pass on my mobile number or give me a contact number so I may be able to speak with people who have dog. I really appreciate your help, Steve 07774 788564Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A Jack Russell answering to Suki's description was seen being taken away by two girls in a park in Buckhurst Hill Essex about a week ago. A chain of people have got this info to me, apparently an elderly lady spoke with them and they told her they were going to take the dog home as she seemed lost, they would then contact the police. I have since contacted the animal warden for Epping Forest Council as well as the local police stations, as yet no further news, local vets have already been contacted. The park is situated in Roding Valley and backs onto Rouse Road and is near to the David Lloyd Centre and Buckhurst Hill Station. Can people in the vicinity please keep their eyes open. A reward is still in place for Suki's safe return. SteveLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I recieved my first hoax phone call this evening, a 'youth' named 'Billy' said that he thought he had found Suki in Ainslie Wood in Chingford, he said that unfortunately she looked to be dead and had suffered injuries before she died. I was not local at the time so I took down the mobile number of the youth and said I would be there in one hour. When I arrived at the wood, both my wife and I spent time looking for Suki to no avail, I also phoned several times the mobile number given before 'Billy' finally answered the phone, he said he did not ring me about Suki and apologised as he believes someone used his phone and falsely gave his name. Some people are so sick! Suki is still missing The story continuesLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Steve any chance of asking Sainsburys to put a poster up in their staff room, most of their lorry drivers would be arriving at that time of night. Also ask the petrol station to put up posters for you. It may just workLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks to everyone who is looking out for Suki, my mum's dog. She was last seen on May 23 at approximately 9pm walking into Sainbury's Supermarket car park off Chingford Road opposite Walthamstow Stadium. She would have gone past the Sainsbury's petrol station. She was also seen one hour earlier in Chingford Mount Road near to the junction of Frances Road, where she was also seen around that time. All sightings so far have been in London E4. My mother thinks Suki will not come back now, I can only hope that someone is looking after her, it was pouring with rain at the time she was last seen. Once again thanks to everyone who is looking out for her and thanks also for your kind comments. SteveLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am hearbroken about this poor little dog - and what a fantastic age too. I have a lady who walks my two on Monday's and have printed out a poster for her as she works in a dog grooming parlour. I have a suspicion that she may even live in Chingford. I will be driving round that way later today and will most definitely keep a very good look out. I don't know if you can do so on this site but if someone could email me privately of the exact area in Chingford it might help. It may be a good idea to take my two out in that area as they can sniff out a dog in milli-seconds!! Crossing everything I have she's found really quickly. If this littleold lady is deaf then like my old JR who is also deaf her sense of smell will still be good . Maybe a scent trail might help?? I think Sherlock Bones is the expert on this. Get as many posters up locally as poss and maybe get local children to help- half term?? it is in my area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry hit the submit button too soon.........You probably have already, but it may be worth doing a thorough seach of local gardens, in around and underneath sheds and hedgerows, she may have got frightened and is laying low somewhere. Good luck. Come home soon poppet Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
