I don't think that Scampi could have gone far on her own. Do we think that someone has taken her? Or as Linda has suggested could someone have taken her to an animal sanctuary? Perhaps thinking that she had been abandoned. Towersey is such a small, tight community!

Still no news? I drove through Towersey twice today to and from the vet, I didn`t see any posters at all but I did notice how full and flowing the ditches and drains were :-( I do hope Scampi returned safely, would be nice to think so.

Is Scampi the littl;e JR from the nursery past the church? If so she has in the past come down to the crossroads in the dark when I leave the village hall and has been right behind my car in the darkness ... there seemed to be something going on in the hall last evening when I drove past ... perhaps someone there has picked her up and handed her in as a stray? Keep checking on lostdogs.co.uk as they are the collection service for the area and may have taken her to Macabee Kennels at Longwick?

Scampi is obviously another victim of the dreaded fireworks. Has the churchyard been searched? Also the old Rugby Club ground. I believe there is a pond quite near the church and of course lots of fields and barns.

I have contacted owner and sent advice email..alot of people have been out searching all night and still are,Strangely there is no sign of her ,she normally would never leave the garden Scampi is 16 years old and a little deaf and a little Blind,and does get confused.Fingers crossed she is back home in the warm ASAP.
