- This is happening far too often...... Some try and some don't but Max you paid that price. Run free in the sun little man. You were taken too young and needlessly but your safe now xx

- This is so sad and tragic. This really needs to be investigated and stopped. There is no excuse for putting a healthy dog to sleep. Shame on all concerned.
RIP darling Max. Run happy and free over the Bridge sweetheart xxx So very, very sorry you were not given the time you deserved - 2014-01-27 19:30 Claire Gresty - Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - North West

Run free handsome xxx - 2014-01-27 18:45 Minigirl - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire
- It is a sad reality nationwide that decisions are having to be made daily about unclaimed dogs in holding kennels.
run free boy xxx - 2014-01-27 17:48 SH
- This is tragic, why let a good dog be pts, it horrifies me - run free over the bridge where no one will let you down x

- How very sad, didn't realise this happens. Shame on Councils, it is disgusting and owners must be more responsible. X

- It is appaulling, you are right. He should have been given a chance. Something really needs to be done to let the public know what happens. Some councils only give the dog 7 days before they are pts, even if they are healthy. I never knew this until I came onto this site.
Edited to say, Run free in the warm sunshine at Rainbow Bridge, where you will be free from harm. I hope I will see you there one day with my lot.xx - 2014-01-26 20:01 Millypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer

- I just contacted the Local Authority boarding kennel we took Max to thinking he'd be safe. They have already put him to sleep. He was taken there on 1/1/14 and dead by 23/1/14. I am appalled. He was fit, obedient and housetrained. He would have made someone a lovely pet. Gone but not forgotten Max.Last edited: 2014-01-27 11:02:40 by Minigirl - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire
