I would recommend getting a night vision monocular and a camera which triggers and photographs night and day.

A friend of the owner informed me tonight that Bertie was scared off by another dog when he went missing. I have asked for more details as this can make a difference when trying to search for him. He could have run further than first thought.

Not sure why it posted as unknown, but one of the helpers has confirmed to me today that "They have cordoned an area off where he was last seen, have left a box with blankets and various other things, & they have scented the area" I have also been told there has been a lot of searching going on, hence probably while the owners haven't had time to come on here.

Emailed the owner again yesterday with some suggestions such as using a snake camera or plumbing tube to listen down holes, and also if there are any furhter pictures we can ciculate, but no reply at the moment.
Some friends of theirs are doing good circulation locally on Fb. Sammie

Spent the morning in the woods, weather was hideous and sadly no sign of Bertie.

Thanks Mandy. From what I have gathered from the emails from the owners and from their friend who circulated him on Fb they have done lots already to find him including making this den and leaving some food nearby.

I heard about Bertie from a friend in Australia who is friends with his owner, we are going up to Micheldever in the morning, have contact details for the owner. They have left a box with his blanket and toys in where he went missing from. Poor baby hope we find him tomorrow x

I have taken a photo that a friend of the owner is using to circulate on Fb. Hopefully the owner may have some clearer ones later.

I have emailed to request a photo and to ask some questions as I have seen this dog being circulated on Fb by another person and not sure who owns him.

I have sent all the normal info and stressed to leave something of his/theirs at the point they last saw him and to scent the area incase he has got stuck somewhere and reappears later.
