Wonderful news. <_3

Hi all
Marisa had a phone call from the local warden on Friday night to say that being as Marisa has done all she can to try and find her owner that this little girl was now officially up for adoption providing she gets a microchip..... A few weeks after finding her Marisa received a phonecall from a local lady who had just lost her lurcher and had seen a found poster for this little girl and fell in love..... Being as Marisa has a cat she can't keep her so she took her round to see the lady who had phoned up about her and she now has a new loving home :)
Marisa
Hi (Inky), Yes, doing all that is possible to reunite her, but had no joy as of yet. She has become a bit of a celebrity around Saddleworth :) Thank you Bev! It was a pleasure to meet you too!

Hi Marissa, I posted about seeing the dogs you mention below. I've not seen them since and they'd be hard to miss at waist height so I'm hoping their owner has got them back. They were full of energy and looked very healthy.
Great that you've taken in this girl and are doing all you can to reunite her. It is very odd that she hasn't been claimed yet, so I'm inclined to agree that she may have been abandoned or possibly loose for a while and come in to this area from elsewhere? Have you given a poster or details to Manchester Dogs Home?

Had the pleasure of meeting Marisa and her family with this lovely girl outside Tesco yesterday--this girl is fortunate to have been found by such a lovely family--and this dog is no longer smelly /matted thanks to Marisa caring for her--I hope that nobody has dumped her .
Marisa
Hey :) I'm the finder. Just curious to a post on the 8th! Same postal area(two days after this girl was found) two lurchers sighted chasing deer. Makes me curious that these poor dogs may have been dumped :( She is so so so lovely it's untrue, cannot imagine why people would do such a thing. Still in hope that someone who may be dearly missing her will come forward, but the state I found her in(smelly and matted fur), and now a sighting of others loose nearby, makes me fear the first.

She is gorgeous xx
Courtney
She was found without a collar and has been taken to the vets to check for a chip but hasn't got one.... She was treated to a trip to the groomers on Tuesday tho x

Hi
She's with the finder at the minute and is safe..... Think the finder is considering keeping her at the minute but if not there's a good few homes waiting to take her in if the finder can't keep her.... I'll keep you all updated on her progress x
Unknown
What a beautiful girl! Are you planning to keep her if she's not claimed? We got a rescue lurcher and it's the best decision we ever made :) Please do let me know however if you need to find a home for her x
Unknown
