- I've just had a phone call from a lady with a possible sighting of Bailey on a bank near the flitch way next to the Gypsy camp heading into Felsted/Little Dunmow. Can anyone in the area be on the look out for her as the lady said she wasn't tied up. Many thanks, Dawn. xx

- I think you have been contacted about a possible sighting in Dorking, Surrey, but just in case not: https://www.facebook.com/groups/dorkingleatherheadselling/permalink/553545364743118/. Post states "Has anyone lost a labadour colour golden. Running around looking distressed. Nower road and West Bank. Tried to catch her with some treats. Has a pink love heart around her kneck!" Sighting near Priory school in Dorking. Mole Valley Dog Wardens number is 01306 885001 - would be worth giving them a shout

- Dawn, did you receive my email. Please read it carefully and do everything it states. Even if you think its not possible, still do it. Go back to the area she went missing and start over with a new search. Quite often this is where the clues lie. Spread outwards in a circle checking & thinking. How exactly she did disappear, please? xxx

- Myself and a number of other Bella's Angels volunteers are just back from foot searching the area. There are loads of walkers, dog walkers and cyclists going up and down the Flitch Way, unfortunately those that we spoke to hadn't spotted Bailey but most were aware.
We searched the area where she went missing down at the river (River Brain) and although the river is quite swollen and faster flowing at the moment it didnt appear strong enough for Bailey not to be able to get out if she went in.
There are alot of small footpaths leading off from that point, one leads across fields to A120 and another leads to a housing estate, if she has been taken then it would be quite easy to get away relatively unnoticed as the river bank is low down beneath the flitch way path in a copse type area. You can see the site from quite high up from the bridge that goes over the river which is called 'Clap Bridge'.
After speaking to owners last night, there was a possible sighting (i dont know how possible, owners will have more info)of Bailey walking along the road near Homelye B&B on the B1256, Braintree Road, Great Dunmow CM6, however i would like to stress again that i dont know how positive this sighting was. The sighting was on same day she went missing i understand. The B&B are aware of Bailey as owners have spoken to them.

- Just thought I would post a link to a Labrador female that is in Leigh Dogs and Cats home. There is no further detail on the site but someone inquired looking for a male and were told this one is female. I know yours is chipped but as occasionally they don't register, thought I would let you know anyway. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=459265314177537&set=gm.568798649881402&type=1&theater
Really hope she gets back to you soon. - 2014-01-09 17:36 jansen

- Sorry to see that BAILEY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (62768)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
