She was sure it was dead or she would have tried to help. The weather was terrible and she turned around and took the turning to see the dog close up. She would have risked stopping if she thought there was any hope but it was silly to risk herself. Unfortunately I only just found out about the sighting or I would have tried to get the dog recovered sooner.

So sad about this dog... lying there for such a long time, that's if it was deceased when beccaben's colleague seen him? I hope he did not suffer.

I saw the dogs body at the road side from close up. It has no black patch on its back so is not Teal. It had been there for a couple of weeks as a work college told me she saw it 30th December 2013. The dog was reported here before I got a chance to do so.

CJ as someone else said Teal but he is chipped., He does have the markings more on one side though. I hope its not him but feel for ever owns him

Oh bless him. The only one I know of here that matches the description is chipped so it can't be him. I so feel for the owners who ever they are, its so tragic. Run free little lad x

This dog was spotted on Monday and we have finally now had dog collected. The dog will be held for over week at the pet crem services Cherry tree to assist time to try and locate owners.

They have kindly collected this fellow today. He has no collar or tag they found no microchip and also I requested they check ears for tattoo.
He body is mainly white with speckles of black over parts like freckles. Both ears are black and the black runs into the face one side slightly more than the other. He is entire and age is estimated at adult but cannot be precise on this.

Sorry to any owner who is looking for this bot but by putting details here there can at least be closure for his owner.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
