Fantastic news. It looks well cared for, so didn't think it had been missing long.

I am pleased to report that I had a call today from the owner of this dog to let me know that it was hers. It had come from a farm and she thought it probably tried to follow them when they had gone out. It is now safely home.
Carol
Looks like akita x collie hope it's soon caught xxxx
Ali
I agree that it may be some other breed than a collie cross but it is difficult to say what. Having spent some time now viewing other lost and found entries I realised it may be far easier to search by colour and approx size of dog, especially in the found section.

Ive been thinking the same. Not sure this is a collie or collie cross. Has a bit of an akita looking face, maybe a cross. Whatever the dog is it need to be caught and taken to safety asap.

I've been sat here looking at breeds too, I thought maybe Australian Shepherd or possibly Welsh collie.

Any farms nearby that it could live at?

This look more like a husky type dog, elkhound, akita etc cross perhaps?!

WELL DONE Alison for getting the photo up, lovely looking dog, hope it is safely caught and back with owners. Makes such a difference having photo/s to help everyone when cross checking for matches. I've added a closer headshot to the Extra Image box. x
Ali
Finally got the picture up, hope it helps!

Hi Alison, if you are trying to upload from a computer can you save to desktop and then open with paint? You can then reduce the size and replace original by saving again to desktop. From a tablet go to edit and there may be an option to resize.
Failing that can you email to admin@doglost.co.uk with the ref number and we will do it for you. Thank you for registering, have you had a chance to look for a match among our missing collies?
