sorry i havent been online to update, the past week we havent really had any news :(

UNTILL TONIGHT :)
PUPPY NUMBER 9 HAS BEEN FOUND
a member of the public messaged me with a pic and i just had to go and double check as the pic wasnt all good and to my shock it was our missing pup, who was apparently found wandering the streets!!!!
anyhow the pup is fine and safe and warm and not hurt, a little on the skinny side but nothing a good few meals cant sort, id like to thank everyone who has been crossposting these gawjus pups, all you lovely caring people have helped alot, wether its on here or through fb or twitter you made these pups too hot to handle, lets hope many more losts/stolen pets can be returned home with all your help xxxxxxx

so glad that there is only 1 missing now but nobody will be truly happy until they are all back where they belong--with their mum!!==hope this happens soon--cant imagine what game these sick people think they are playing distributing puppies around like litter.

Tina updates that just the one puppy now outstanding, will look to update with a good photo of that one pup to share. Am told the other pups are all doing well, mum pleased to have them home! Great news.

Just a thought - what about sending pics of the missing ones to livestock auctioneers - I don't think the sheepdog auctions start til May, but they do auction pups, but the auctioneers might be approached by people wanting to sell and/or buy collies.
I wish you all the luck in the world getting the rest of your babes home x

Today (Friday 17th January 2014) three more puppies that were stolen from Percy Street have been returned safely to their mother.
There are, however, still two puppies missing. Police continue to have concerns about the welfare missing puppies as they are too young to have been removed from the care of their mother. Anyone who has bought a puppy this week and is unsure whether it might be one of the stolen puppies is urged to contact police as a matter of urgency.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Swindon Priority Crime Team, Wiltshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800555111.

the found pup on here 63197 is not one of the pups missing, i still beleive the remaining 5 pups are still in the swindon area, even though i was told they was sold to someone in bristol, that was before the 4th pup was found, personally i think the person who told me that was trying to get the police to focus on a different area, ive also had a report of a man asking people in asda walmart-swindon if they wanted to buy a collie x pup, police have been informed of this, so it looks like who ever has the 5 pups are finding it hard to sell them, keep up the good work people you all have been a great help, ill update more as and when i hear of any more news x

Keep making them "too hot to handle" you are all doing such a great job. Try asking pubs to display posters, along with florists, taxi drivers, ask at local vet centres (If you haven't already done so), put some in bus shelters, pet stores (if there are any), the more places the more info gets out to public. lilybear- thank you for updating, pup is doing great glad to be back with its mum, however 6 still remain missing, bonus is ive herd there's been an arrest, so will update as soon as i hear anything else, fingers crossed the other 6 will soon appear, thank you again from me and the owner for all the help we are getting, 3 pups in 2 days is good so hopefully the remaining 6 will be found by weekend xx

Beyond belief--Once again we hear of unbelievably cruel people ---how can anyone that somebody knows do such an awful thing---hope the mother dog is more settled with 2 of her babies back --praying that the others will be found safe--and hope the people responsible are found by the police and get a suitable punishment. Lillybear I will contact Vets Klinic this morning as the footpath heads that way and one of their customers may have seen something and mentioned it to them. Also Pets at Home is nearby so they may try to advertise them on there board.

Walk the route and look for any CCTV cameras, find out who owns them and get the police to examine the recording pdq as often the images are over-written as only the most recent 24/48 hours is kept.

no it was the entrance to Mannington Park the Wooden bridge over the river the pathway leads to Sainsburys **edit** just looked on google maps its at the end of Morrison St

I didn't pay a great deal of attention,just though it seemed a bit odd but guessed they might be walking to the Vets.The female had tied back brown hair and was over weight.Both males were skinny and wearing tracksuits 1 was carrying a grey plastic pet carrier the other may have been carrying a cage with a white sheet over it.

9 x 5 week old puppies taken from house, Percy St, Swindon, SN2 today between 8am x 10am possibly by an ‘acquaintance’ of owner. The mother of pups remains at the home address and is safe. Pups registered on DL by friend of owner, have updated them re witness information – thanks robus1971. Have asked lady to recontact Police to confirm Log no and Crime Ref No and to pass on information they have. Hope to hear back shortly with any update. Robus1971, please do you recall any descriptions of the people you saw? Thank you.

I saw 3 people, 2 men and a women in early 20s carrying some Pups in a 2 carriers and one loose pup held by the woman they were at Mannington Park on the pathway that leads to Sainsburys this was approx 10am this morning
