- Possible sighting about 15 mins ago by a friend of mine. Dog hiding in undergrowth and only coming out when you walk away. Have contacted owner and given her details of where this is and her son is now on his way to look.

- I know the people at Slatfords nursery on the 127 near the petrol station. I'll phone them in the morning to ask them to keep a look out for her. Can the owner get a poster up in the petrol station on the 127 and ask Sainsburys if they'll put one up in the shop and petrol station at Rayleigh Weir? Gill at Crofters Kennels will have seen it on my facebook page but I'll text her now to make sure she knows. I have some bees on land in Daws Heath near the 127 so I'll take a walk down there at first light and let the landowner know to keep an eye out for her.

- Can someone add her details to the Rayleigh Essex fb group. previous runaways in that area got thousands of hits & shares from that site. remember 2 previous missing bulgarian and romanian dogs who were followed through them. shared again on fb

- Owner has contacted local vets, Acresway and dog warden. She has been out from early till late searching, she is devastated!
Echo is a rescue dog from Croatia but she does not know life on the streets as she was captured at 3 weeks old and brought up in shelter until she was transported over and rehomed. Echo is still only a puppy being around 6 months old. Many dog walkers on the common are aware of her being missing and have also been actively searching. Echo could easily make her way towards the A127 Rayleigh weir area - 2014-01-14 21:29 Beverley
- Iv just had a drive over there just to see if I could hear anything, but nothing. AcresWay already know of this dog . I'm willing to go on a search party day or night as I'm local.

- Oh, and poster Hadleigh Castle, Hadleigh Downs and Daws Heath area. That should cover 90% of dog walkers in the area! Will she approach strangers or is she a bit shy?
- 2014-01-14 20:57 Ann
- Shared on facebook, lets get her home. Suggest owner puts posters in Belfairs and on Two Tree Island as word will spread most quickly amongst other dog walkers. With a lead attached there's a good chance someone has picked her up and taken her in to the warm. Contact Acres Way as they're very close by and people know to take strays there.
