New sighting this afternoon at 3pm - back in Alvechurch - not far from home in Old Rectory Lane, was in a residents garden and ran over river/brook when disturbed into fields/woodland. Have left scent items near there and a humane trap will be set tonight in the same garden.
Unknown
You are doing a great job Lucy.....just so many places for her to hide. Good advice to people as well:) PLEASE people do not run after her calling her name as this could push her more towards busy roads. More sightings are needed......if she stays in the same area we could then set up the trap xx

Many people are at work tomorrow - I'm retired so available to help during day. Any more sightings? Sorry can't access AVS fb - will keep alerting people and searching, but shout on here if I can do more.

Come back safely
soon Aro. Your mummy is distraught

I hope today is the day Aro comes home. I can't access AVS Fb, but will keep up the search around Cofton/Lickey area. Come home, Aro.

Thankyou to all that are helping :)
Ian was lovely you and Helen gave your time today to search with us - much appreciated.
Ei - thank you also - the alvechurch village society facebook page has up to date details of searches/posters
Ian
After visiting Lickey VC this morning we checked out various paths and fields by Barnt Green Sailing Club and Cofton Hackett church but no sign. Lets hope for more luck with a sighting tomorrow.
Eileen
Sorry there have been no sightings today. I talked to searchers this morning at Lickey VC. Hadn't realised Aro may have come over this way (I'm in Cofton Hackett) Have postered the Stocken (footpath between Cofton Church Lane and chestnut Drive, Cofton.) I can help search tomorrow or do more postering,
Lucy Stevenson
Unfortunately no sightings on the organised search or anywhere else today.

Thinking of all the searchers today and sending strong good luck vibes.

Yes, the trap could be useful, providing you have had a few sightings in consistent areas. We can do a convoy to get the trap to you and give you advice on setting up and 'watching'. PLEASE ring me if you want to try. Lorna

Lucy I am sorry that made me laugh..... Bless him Aro aka a deer sounds lovely and I hope you will soon have him home.

The posters are so helpful and well though I am too far away to be any help I will share him to our Pup's page and ask anyone in that area to put up posters as well as keep and eye out for him.

Aro stay safe till your found

Latest info just come in from a local person -
"may have seen Aro late last night about 2200 running right to left across Barnt Green Road towards the Lickey's."
Had thought it was a deer till saw Aro's poster

Thanks for all offers of help - have been out all day today since first light and just got back but no sightings :(
The local community have organised a search for 10a.m. in the morning (18th) meeting at The Weighbridge Pub in Alvechurch (right next door to Alvechurch Train Station)
Lorna - would love to take you up on offer but no sightings since 6.30pm yesterday - does this matter? Or could trap be used in fields by last nights sighting?
Julie - you're most welcome - Jon has left you a voicemail message

If you need a dog trap to help catch Aro, please ring me on 07843263441. We have helped track several dogs, and this could be the answer, providing she has been sighted. The trap is free to hire along with a camera and alarm. Lorna

If there's another sighting and you need an extra pair of hands, i'm only about 20 miles away. I have an MT dog, so know how scared they can be.

Advice from local experienced lost dog catcher at Rescue Centre - don't call her - just drop food and walk away and call him and he'll set up a cage/trap once we narrowed down area.

Bumped due to recent sighting.

Sighting tonight about 6.30pm - in Bittell Farm Road between Barnt Green and Hopwood - same road as yesterdays sighting at 3.00pm. Went straight to search but no luck.
Lucy Stevenson
From that sighting it was suggested she could be heading towards Cofton Hackett or Lickey Hills area?? Just been to both but no sign of her.
Unknown
Sighting yesterday around 3.00pm in the Barnt Green area.
