Have just spoken with Dylan's owners.
It is with the greatest regret and sadness that am updating to say that Dylan's body has been found this morning by his owner.
Sending huge condolences to his family who have worked so hard and done everything possible to try to find their much loved dog xxx
Run free at Rainbow Bridge Dylan, knowing how much you are loved xxx
Dylan's owners would like me to pass on their thanks and appreciation to everyone who has helped during the time that Dylan has been missing and to those who came to help with the search this morning xxx

Had a long chat last night- they are doing everything possible and are grateful for all the help and support locally. One of the most useful things people can do is to continue to poster and raise awareness.
We have discussed media appeals and will be working on them this weekend

SEARCH FOR DYLAN - ESHOLT 10 am Saturday 25.01.2013
Everyone to meet in field on right next to allotments bring torches, sticks, wellies and waterproofs! Just think if this was your dog ! The more people we have the more places we can search. please spread the word !
If coming from Baildon turn right to Esholt and take the 3rd left onto Highview the allotments are on right and the field is just after with a gate with dylan posters on. Not very safe for children and keep dogs on a lead.

Dylan's owner has checked photo and confirmed that Black Lab at Deerness 63563 is not Dylan.

Hi, there is one just added to Deerness kennels - could you take a look. Could be pure Black Lab. Hi,I was down in Esholt this morning having a look for Dylan and was surprised to see only one poster right at the other end to where the coach carpark is. Don't know what you think about setting up a fb page for him like they did for Zac the labrador who was found up on the Glen, 6-7 days after he went missing but only 20mtr away, he fell down a really tight crevice. It may get more people involved.
Also is it worth getting all us mad doggy people, dog walkers etc down there and doing a massive search of the area together rather than individuals trying to search the whole wood?

Bumped for possible sighting this morning at 7.30 am near Cotes farm estate, Leeds road Thackley.
The area in the woods where Dylan went missing is near to the old settling tanks at the closest end of the woods to Esholt village.

Dylan went missing on a walk today in Esholt woods. When he went missing he was wearing a collar and a ID tag and he is microchipped.
His owners have been searching the area.
he will be reported to all the relevant authorities and if he is not home by tomorrow then the area will be postered.
have requested a photo.
everything crossed for news of him very soon
