Just had text from Bellas owner to say she has her home. She evidently walked into a hotel close to where she ran off from and they called owner. Clever clever collie. Welcome home beautiful girl.

Hi, I reported a Collie that I sighted this morning but is in the BH16 area near Poole which seems to far from Weymouth but you never know. From what I saw I'd say your lovely Bella has bigger, perkier ears (if they're always up) than the dog I saw this morning. I have notified the local police who logged as an incident and also the dog warden. I really hope you find Bella soon, good luck, Caroline.

Waterside holiday caravan Park is worth postering as is The Spy Glass, popular eating place. More posters, more calls will come in. Also Sea life centre not far away and has lots of visitors.

We have a day off today so will go for a walk with our dog around that area, hope this helps, our dog went missing last week and was found after 50 hours, thanks to this website, sandie clive and archie

If Bella had been picked up by a member of the public it may be difficult for them to get hold of the dog warden out of hours so please check with both West Dorset and Weymouth councils first thing in the morning.

Didn't think of that at the time we live in dorchester and she went missing near weymouth while we went for a walk. We are so worried about her it's so cold outside we searched for hours in and around the area and still couldn't find her asked people and they said they haven't seen her. If anyone knows anything please contact me my number is on the poster.

Emailed advice, poor Bella will probably be hiding close to where she ran off from. Can something smelling of home/owners be left close to where the car was parked to encourage her to stay close.
