- Emma has been in contact with me all afternoon giving me updates on this lovely lad as he is with her friend.
The warden didn't make it so the finder took him direct to Leigh Cats and Dogs Home. On arrival the staff there knew exactly who he was as the owner had been in touch and he went straight home. The saddest part was their other dog had died the night before and the two dogs were very close, this boy bolted, possibly looking for his friend....heartbreaking :(
Thank you to Emma and her friend for keeping this lad safe and helping him find he way home. Leigh Cats and Dogs seem to have a bad reputation and many in the area refuse to let stray dogs go there, keep hold of them and try to find the owner themselves. Thank goodness this wasn't the case here, this poor boy who is grieving wouldn't now be tucked up at home where he belongs.
Stay safe fella, hugs from all at DogLost xx
