- Other Info Collected from Leigh cats and dogs home, despite hoka being chipped. No phone call from warden or dogs home. Just shows how important it is to have a tag with contact numbers as the person who found would of called us instead. Happy ending and off to get a tag :-)

- Yes the chip can only be checked during office hours as you have to have a code to get details from the chip company as they won't give them out otherwise. Only the office staff have the code.
Also there are different chip companies as well, so staff would need to know which company to ring.
I would get a tag and make sure you put on a strong key ring.

Dogs home only open 9-5 and only got call from dog warden at 8:34pm after he had checked log book for day and saw log of dog matching hoka's description being reported as lost in lower ground at 4:30pm. Managed to get hold of guy who found him, sent him photos and spoke to him to confirm was hoka's. - haribo862003 thanks for posting, looks like it was HOKA you are referring to as found. I've seen comments made by Andrew on his fb page and he has updated the details further up. I've added a REUNITED photo and one of Havoc with a harness on, both pics taken from Andrew's page.

- is that a old picture of the dog? dog matching that discription was picked up today and taken to Leigh kennels. If it is your dog you will probably get a phone call from them in the morning, as the dog was picked up when there office is shut
