Marley has now been located and a plan is now in place to capture him. It is extremely important that he is left undisturbed whilst this plan is being carried out. Thank you all for you continued offers of assistance. We envisage being able to update you by the end of the week.

Hi Marianne/Steve, I'm so pleased you are getting plenty of sightings of Marley, and hopefully it won't be long before he is safely home. At the weekend there are always plenty of people around to help with the search, but I know weekdays can be a different matter. I am retired so have time to help during the week, if you think there is anything I could usefully do. I normally check this site about three times a day, so please message me on here if you would like me to come over. I'm free any day next week except Tuesday.

Marley has been sighted this morning on the golf course, just north of Finches Field. If you spot Marley please DO NOT APPROACH HIM but call Steve on 07787557774.
If you have sighted him over the past 4 days, please phone Marianne on 07827913362 so the sighting can be added to the log. Thank you.

The latest on Marley.
They now know where he is but he's being spooked by all the people looking for him so they are asking that everyone stays away for now to give him chance to regain his confidence and go to someone he is familiar with.
Spindle
Giving some advice on this one. Lots of sightings. Please DO NOT CHASE THIS DOG. Just note where you have seen him and call mobile number immediately.
alikat
That sounds like a good idea. I'm sure that with a bit of quiet and calm, with his familiar bed and some food, he will soon settle down. At least you know he hasn't gone too far from where he went missing. Fingers crossed for you.

Marley was seen a number of times today but the sheer amount of people there was actually scaring him off. Over the past two days he has been spotted in peoples gardens so they have left out some food for him and his own bed has been left in a covered crate so he hopefully will go there to sleep. Now they know where he is they have decided that only one or two people need to keep watch so he will not be spooked again.
Casey
Oh fingers crossed!!!!!!!

How about contacting the dog tracking lady? Doglost should be able to put you in touch. She has been very successful and is based in the South East (Kent, I think)

Hi Marianne, it is Lorna, I spoke to you just before 5. Encouraging news that he has been spotted a few times today and fingers crossed the trap will work and he will be home soon. I live in Broadfield which is very close to Pease Pottage so if you need any more help just give me a ring, you or your brother will have my number. Hang on in there Last edited: 2014-01-30 17:36:15 by _Lorna_

If you don't manage to catch him today, I could come over to help tomorrow... I am near Dorking, so just tell me where and when? Hope you managed to catch him today, before it got dark.
