Hello Sazzle. I am in Seend, near Melksham. I will keep trying to get a photo, but the dog runs away. If it was Flint, can you think of anything that he would be particularly attracted to ?

We have found a lovely male tri coloured collie on Dartmoor today. If you have lost or know anyone that has lost a dog please contact me.

The dog I saw certainly looks similar to Flint, but we are quite a long way from where he went missing. The dog is very nervous and won't come to me. Would Flint come to a particular treat or call if I see him again ? I am trying to get a photo.

Just posting this for you to check - my guess is probably not a match because it looks from the photo as if yours has a darker left leg but photo is not that clear and just in case it's shadows etc - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=560696217355506&set=a.128219200603212.28116.120933947998404&type=1&theater Group is called Dogmatch wales and south west but dog was at Pelyn Veterinary Group FB site.

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
