In an article in this weeks 'Thats Life' a lady mentions she has a staffordshire bull terrier named 'Sox'. Long shot i know but if anyone in the Oldham, Geater Manchester area knows this dog, can say what sex, colour, age etc. it is I would be very grateful. Many thanks. xxxx

The mentioned kennels are The Cliffe Kennels, Hoyland Swaine, Sheffield 01226 762391 they do not have an email so I couldnt send one. Hope this helps though?x

HI.....If you go to the library and ask for the yellow pages for the Barnsley and Sheffield area you will probably find the number under kennels or animal sancturies/rescue centres....Good luck

I've just been to the rescue kennels at Holyandswaine to give them a photo of our missing dog Holly and there were a couple of black staffies in. They take in strays from the Barnsley/Sheffield areas, have you tried contacting them?

I have emailed Sox poster to Northern Stafford Bull Rescue 01229 465791 and Stafford Bull Terrier Welfare. You could also try this link for list of Staffy breeders/clubs etc close to you and Uk wide http://www.staffords.co.uk/ . I hope this helpsxx

Missing sox have you tried the local free papers as well? They seem to get out to the maximum amount of people as they are free. Worth a try if you havent done it already. Also are there any local shows due in the next few weeks again postering there will be seen by lots of people. I so hope Sox is home soonxx

Miss him more than you could imagine. Everytime i go out i'm looking to spot him. I know i haven't got much of a chance anymore though. Just hope he's ok, we'll never forget him. xxxx

Yes please, thank you so much. Having a bad day today, my uncle's coming from wales with his Staffy pup. Really not looking forward to it. Going into Gainsborough soon, going to have a look/ask around. Everybody thinks somebody has taken to him and kept him, but they don't know what he likes & dislikes. Really want him home. xxxx

Neither could i! May have made a mistake, could have been in last weeks. Going to ring the paper in the morning to check. Still getting call's of sightings, but no luck yet. Pretty much losing all hope. x

Still no news, i really think somebody's taken him out of town. Will get some more posters put up if none are about. I've made some posters myself and put them up in shops around town. Sme people have rung but it's never him. Thanking everyone for there help though. xxxx
