Unfortunately, they often chase wildlife but always return. Very god a retracing their steps so can't understand where they are.

Excellent news - my collie x once went missing for that long - she'd gone hunting with a pal from the village :( She got back around 10pm, very footsore, and sicked up an entire rabbit barely chewed! What monkeys they can be

Sorry to hear this - I used to live in Edwardstone so know the area well, luckily there is little traffic but the problem right now is the flooding everywhere esp in the Box valley :(
I did try to get the car going today to come and help look but after all the rain my back wheel was clamped on the brake and had to wait for Geoff my mechanic to call by at 5.15 to free it. And I'm doing a long dog rescue transport tomorrow so won't be around either unless I can make it after c3.30. Will check the state of things then also Weds morning as I have to go to Sudbury anyway. My staffie foster girl is mustard at finding other dogs (she adores them) so might be some help
