So very sad to read about Belle's status just now Been checking on and off for good news since she went missing....at least she's in a safe place now and you can rest in your mind knowing what happened xx

GUTTED to see this sad news. Deepest thoughts are with BELLE, and her family.

I've just seen a lovely video on fb of her playing with the family cat. Amazing to see them together, thank you to her family for sharing it, such a lovely tribute to Belle. :)x

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Sadly I have the most terrible news today. I have received a message from Belles owner just now to say her body has been found in a hedge. It seems she had a knock to the head. I'm so sorry Belle rest in peace gorgeous girl. Everyone tried so hard to find you. Sending best wishes and deepest sympathy to the family especially the children xxxxx

I'm free tomorrow to help search .... Would it help at all if I brought my 2 dogs (Springer and Sprollie) Would she run to them, if we are lucky enough to spot her, or would she be more likely to flee..?
Would you like me to print off some flyers too.... ?

Thanks everyone... Debbie, I'll try the scent thing and cooking outside... I went to the bike centre in Llandegla earlier today and didn't see any gypsies. If it's the group that were in the trees on the roadside (where old man used to live, with old vw cars) I think they've moved on. Been postering in Treuddyn, Griainrhyd and have rang more rescue centres further afield. I'm not giving up on my little girl.... Thanks for all your ideas and support xxx

Thanks everyone for your help. I've put Belle forward to go on the Countrymans Weekly Magazine list but it will be a couple of weeks before she goes in.

Also, could you leave some old clothing with your scent on, close to where she went missing. And also scent mark local areas to try and draw her home, if she's still in the vicinity. I'm not suggesting you pee in public places, but sprinkle a bit from a bottle! And cook something outdoors... the smell might entice her home! Try anything and everything....!!!

Just had a thought last night... last time I went to Llandegla forest trail (3-4 weeks ago!) , there was a small Gypsy camp nearby... would it be worth asking there..?

I'm in work all week but if you need help searching at the weekend, I'm happy to help! Hopefully, though, she'll be back home by then. Have you contacted the mountain bike place in Llandegla forest. You could print off some flyers and ask the car park attendants to hand them out as people park! Worth a try? Let me know if you need help.... Hang in there.... xx

If you can get a picture you will be able to print off posters and it might be a good idea to then flood the area with them. Really hope she is soon home x
