Shame we cant trace the owner, tie them to the gate, and leave then there: just a thought. I hope she finds a home where she can live out her twilight years.

Hmmm tied to a gate by a busy main road doesn't bode well for being re-united with owner. Poor old girl, I hope she finds a cosy retirement home

Has someone been to the property of the gate that she was tied too, to ask if she was their dog or someone visiting them? The gate must lead to somewhere. Maybe dogs weren't allowed past the gate?

Being "tied to a gate" doesn't sound very good for this oldie. At least she is in the warm and dry and getting some much needed treatment by the sounds of it. I do hope the owner comes forward and accepts some financial help if needed but if not then I do hope someone falls in love with her and offers her a nice warm home and TLC in her twilight years xx

Hope an owner claims, and it`s not a case of "Too old, no longer wanted" Paws xd for someone to claim. Will cross post. Am willing to donate for her treatment if necessary. Hope her ears are feeling better. Sending her gentle cuddles from me

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
