Sorry to see Niles is missing. Always best to keep a cat in if you move to a new area for at least a week. I had to keep my eldest in for a month, as she had been straying. Take DL advice, and post small "Lost" posters through doors, as well as putting up posters. He may be trying to get back to his original home. Put something with the cats scent on, a blanket say, and put in the garden in a box in a dry/sheltered spot. You could put something in with your scent on too. Also put sardines/pilchards on the cats food dish, and keep tapping it as you call his name. Good luckx
