Hi, there's a dog on the Leigh cats and dogs home web page that looks like Anica. It's in the Stray dogs bit Bolton area - 357885.

I know Durham is a long way but the dog at Deerness kennels hasn't been claimed and is whit, blue eyed - definitely same type as Anica. Possible she has been picked up then got away.

Please look at the facebook page of Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, see link. Don't know nay details but the photo looks very simialr to Anica. I have been trying to let someone know a dog was roaming on the M62 this morning at 7.25 right where Anica is sighted and went missing at Rishworth Moor around junction 22. The highways would be able to give you the details. I heard it on the radio on the way to work this morning. It needs checking out just in case !! x

Hi - I spoke to Jackalee this morning. Been driving between Denshaw, M62 J22 & whitehouse this morning for a couple of hours. No sightings, spoke to the chaps working at the J22 east bound slip road but they haven't seen her since yesterday afternoon's sighting. She ran up the west bound J22 exit slip road up to the hard shoulder and then jumped over the fence back on to the moor (as the crow flies, this would probably be back towards Whitehouse). Managed to speak to a chap at the united utilities station (not always manned) just across the road from the Whitehouse pub, he hasn't seen her but will mention it to the person who will be back to the building tomorrow - he asked if I had any details, will print off a poster and pop it the post box on the gate. I've explained they won't be able to approach her, they will let us know if they see her. I haven't seen any posters up - would be good if some could be cascaded around the areas she has been seen. I'll go back out again this afternoon for a couple of hours.

Have sent a message on Twitter to upper valley police here and West Yorkshire police dogs. Can the person who has spotted her give a rough estimate of where it was, or where they park? I'd be happy to go up and look for her. Is she ok with other dogs? Eg playful? I could go with or without mine but just wondering if she'd approach other dogs rather than humans? I can send someone my number privately as we are local to the area x I will post on my dog walkers page too

Rishworth moor is Junction 22 on the M62. Come off the motorway and turn towards Ripponden, sowerby bridge. There is a layby on the right hand side of the road (just after the little bridge). We go there every Sunday but not this weekend. Did you actually see her Nicole? We can try and get up there this week during the week if it will help? X

Hx6 is just the area anuska was found very far from home i live in Oldham so we don't really know the area well but Saddleworth moors and batings dam and Rippendon moors i don't realy know the area it's such a large area i wish there was some sort of dog rescuers shame a dogs life does not have the same value as a humans. Hopefully we will get her home safe and get her with her sister because she has never been alone and she is hurt so i bet she is very frightened and hungry going back out in the morning. Thanks

Anika is missing right on the borderline of NW and NE. She was last sighted near junction 22 of the M62 (Saddleworth/Oldham).
Another dog (Sister to Anika) Was also lost with her but has been caught. The same lady that caught her has also seen Anika twice today . Have advised owner to enlist er help as she seems to be returning to the same area

One got picked up but they couldn't catch Anica she ran away, She has never been alone ,She has been spotted today on junction 22 m62, and then later at Turving road off Rochdale road in little borough area

There is a facebook group called Rochdale crap for sale which has a post of two white huskies spotted on the moors above Littleborough - apparently one was caught and is safe but the other ran off again and couldn't be caught. Seems very co-incidental with the area etc but i'm sure the two have been spotted for a few days whereas Anica is only missing since 6th but if the owner can at least look at the pic and say if it is or isn't her.
