  • Other Info Alfie is lost in Chelmondiston on the Shotley Peninsula near Ipswich. Alfie, who is wearing a collar, got spooked and ran off early afternoon today, the other dog he was with has been found but Alfie is still missing. He has been seen on Woodlands and at least twice running along/across the main road through the village. Last seen heading towards Pin Mill lane around 8.45pm, but he seems to be sticking to the village rather than the fields. Please phone owner Jill if you see him.

Alfie is back with his mum and dad! After driving round the village and searching until 1.30, his owners went and parked up Richardson's Lane near the woods where he ran from and lo and behold, at 4.15am they heard him barking to be let in the car! What a clever boy to return there and let his people know he was ready to be found. Poor boy must be exhausted after running round the village for hours but thank goodness he is now safe at last! Jill and Colin are thrilled and would like to thank everybody who has spread the word and been out looking for Alfie - in Jill's words, they "feel like the luckiest people in the world today." Thank you DogLost for helping to spread the word. Alfie's owners have kindly offered to make a donation in thanks for the help they received :)
