There's a ginger coloured lab cross listed on the doglost Lincolnshire fb page. He's been seen straying in Lincolnshire for the last 3 months and was finally caught on Friday 11th July. Worth a look

Bit of a treck, but Found 70220 seems worth looking at

A old golden labrador boy has been found handed over to the dog warden who has taken him to Longbenton cat and dog shelter. This is all the info I have but will also share photo to Dog Theft Awareness County Durham (I don't know how to transfer it over) xx

Finder has just confirmed to me the one they have isn't your dog as is a Lurcher type. Will still keep my eyes open for yours.
Sarah
Please check this one just to make sure its not your dog - http://www.gumtree.com/p/pets/dog-found-in-beeston/1055024773#photo-content

Hi the picture going round Facebook of a Labrador with a blue collar is not Bailey as the dog in the photo is from New York but thanks for mentioning it. Well it's been 2 weeks now and I still have no idea where he is, there will be an advert in the local free paper this week so hoping this works

I don't think this is him but if they have listed found date incorrectly it could be. They say found on 7th and yours didn't go missing until 9th so unlikely but just in case there is incorrect info cld you check if this is Bailey at Cleadon Kennels under given kennel name Jenson. http://cleadonkennels.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=189614216

Will share on my Facebook page and lost dog groups. Hope he is home safe soon x

Don't think now that the one found in Bury (I mentioned below) is yours - pretty sure this is it. Will try to get a photo added to the found post. Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary FB page https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10202104354864888&set=pcb.10152250532280350&type=1&theater

Is it worth checking this one out - I know it's 2.5 hours away but dogs do get picked up and moved - the older adult description fits? http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=64730#.UwEwgPl_ugY Hope you get him back soon.

Charmaine8361 so Sorry to hear there is still no news of Bailey.
I will bump Baileys page as he had an advertisement in Fridays EVENING CHRONICLE .
charmaine8381
Well the shelters were no good he wasn't there so someone must know where he is. He's an old man who likes his comforts so please if you have him please return him
charmaine8381
Hi all thought I'd give an update, Bailey is still missing and it has been 5 days now. We have tried posters, searches, Facebook, Twitter. We will be going to every dog shelter we can think of tomorrow as we have taken the day off work for this. There will also be a advert in tomorrow's evening chronicle

Thanks everyone x
Sadly there is still no news of Bailey .
I have exchanged some texts with charmaine8381 and given advice. Bailey was wearing a blue collar and ID tag when he went missing but the contact number on the tag is no longer in use.
In view of this I would advise to keep postering and try to get a story or advert in the local newspaper as someone may have taken him in .
Hoping this lovely elderly boy is found very soon x Last edited: 2014-02-11 23:49:24 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Sorry to see that BAILEY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (64384)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
