- Thanks Owl for updating and the call. I heard back from the dog warden today. It is a shame that Saffron has not been found, I know her owner will never stop looking. In this case the gender of the found dog was not originally made public and they do look very similar.

- Local coordinator Poochpal has had confirmation that the Found dog 88197 mentioned below is definitely male.

- Could it be possible that Found 88197 is Saffron? No gender reported, could possibly have been picked up, taken home and then re-lost? Have asked owner to have a look.

- Fingers crossed for Saffron - at least she looks young and fit. Have you reported to Coastguard? There is a chance she could scramble to shore anywhere.
