Bert is still missing and I can only think the worse as his owner. Thanks for all the help and kind thoughts I only hope that he was found by somebody who took him in and is well

Very similar dog description wise on found section of http://www.petsearchuk.org.uk/ on 18th Dec 06 in Hamps. Only difference its states the dog is young. Have tried to contact owners but again no joy.

There is a fun day to be held on Sunday30th July at Theddlethorpe near Mablethorpe Lincolnshire, is anyone able to go and spread the word about Bert. If not could someone e-mail his poster to www.bulliesinneed.org.uk. Sorry I am not very good with computers and am having trouble doing it myself.

Hi...Checked with Leeds, and unfortunatley it's not Bert. But they said Snoopy had now got a new home which is great.........We are going through hell here ourselves today, our bullie bitch Cassie was rushed to the vets early this morning, very ill. They think it could be her liver, The waiting for the phone call is agony......Will keep doing my best for Bert and Sox the staffy, who's missing from Gainsborough.

Hi...Well spotted Vickie1, have been on dogstrust site to look for myself, and while he looks very much like Bert, i don't think its our boy, however i will contact them tomorrow just to be sure in case owner has not managed to do so. The dog on the site has been given the name Snoopy and he looks an absolute doll. I would be tempted to go get him if our Cassie wasn't such a "bitch" She's a real spoilt lady!!......Keep up the search for Bert and all the others.

There is a English Bull terrier at Dogs Trust Leeds that looks just like this chap, although they have him as aged 4, I suppose one English Bull with Black patch over his eye looks pretty much like any other but you never know. Hope Burt is home really soon.

Went to dog training class night ,near Mablethorpe, and left a poster there. They do a lot of demos in Lincolnshire so will keep their eyes open for this old fella. Hope he is found soon.

I live in Fulstow. I have sent posters to the local dog wardens, rescue kennels and vets. There is another rescue kennels called the Arc at North Sommercotes it may be worth giving them a ring as they take in dogs from all over the country. Sorry I can't find their phone number.

Ok I found a really good site that finds postcodes in any area.So in a 15 mile radius roughly around LN8 is the following that have been emailed his poster. LN1/ LN2/ LN3/ LN4/ LN5/ LN6/ LN7/ LN9/ LN10/ L11/ LN12/ LN13/ PE22/ DN37/ NG23. This is now a total of 24 Petshops and Vets.Also 64 extra Doglost helpers now to hopefully help poster etc.It all helps and fingers crossed.Come on Bert ! Jx

Bulliemad - What are the postcodes nearby apart from LN8 that Bert lives in please ? Hi Are there any helpers out there in villages closer to Lincoln who could poster. If he got to Hackthorn its not impossible for him to reach Lincoln. Obviously if someone has picked him up he could be anywhere now but i am still hoping he is around this area. I have just spoken with owner and told him how much we want to get his boy back for him. The poor man says he has "run out of tears". I was close to tears myself talking to him....... Again, if there is anyone in villages around central Lincoln could you please help!

Hi Had some computer trouble. The penny has suddenly dropped the place you mean must be Hackthorn. Used to go riding in that area with Welton riding shcool. Will get a poster up in their yard. A lot of people out riding may have a chance of spotting him..... Can someone tell us if he wandered off and if this was a deffinate sighting... Will try the rescue kennels again tomorrow and see if they return my call this time!! Lets hope we can get this old lad home where he is safe.....Lorraine

Hi If it was my girl i would have someone sat on top of the phone. Who knows when that call could come to say he's been found. Probably out looking for his boy. Have all the kennels and vets in the area been notified? Have called the Gainsborough ones. Will keep checking.
