Jpain - how's Buster getting on now, been thinking about him all weekend. X

Aww what a brave little feller. Willing him to make a full recovery xx
Bo
Thanks Jpain for the update, I keep checking your little mans progress, what a determined spirit he has. X
AlisonH
Come on Buster keep up the good fight.
Jpain
He is making such fantastic progress from 48 hours. They told us that he would not have survived another night. Today he was able to walk for the first time. He has put on a kilo in weight over the last 2 days alone.. Probably because we keep sneaking in chicken, beef and ham :) he is still in a lot of pain and will need to have an operation to remove his poorly eye. They still don't know the extent of his facial injuries and broken bones, but it's quite a miracle really he has kept fighting this long. He is a little hero.x
Ali
How is little Buster today?

We have just been to visit him. He is very weak and dehydrated. He is having painkillers and antibiotics, since his eye that was damaged by the road accident has become badly infected. At this stage they are unsure if they will remove it, it will depend on how the infection heals and how much discomfort it causes him? Right now he is too weak for surgery. He has broken his cheek bone and eye socket, so looking a bit sore! However, the vets seem optimistic about his recovery, he needs a lot of rest, food, water and TLC. So pleased he is a safe place now. We cannot thank everyone enough for their support over the last few days. It's been overwhelming.x
whippetlady
So glad he's been found - hope he makes a full recovery. He must have moved about a bit if he got from Horfield Common onto the railway line - thank God he was found before anything worse happened!
debbie
Will ask owners to update a soon as they have time but obviously will want to be with Buster at the moment x
debbie
Buster was found this morning, he's at the vets as in a bad way, may lose an eye and he's lost a tooth. He's very thin but is currently being treated. He was found by the rail track . Hoping he recovers from his ordeal but he seems like a fighter as he's managed yo survive for 6 days after being hit by a car, not sure if his injuries were from that or a train but if a train would have thought it would have been fatal .
Mishybird
Come on Buster, let some one find you, time to come home xx
Jpain
Another sighting, although on Friday afternoon near the Tescos by Horfield common. He is clearly sticking around the Horfield area!
Mollychops
I will put words to this effect on the poster jpain, so the can go up in this area tomorrow
Jpain
Another sighting by the Horfield sports centre this evening around 8.30PM running towards Muller Road. He was running away from a man who was chasing him. He is clearly very scared and if any one sees him we need to approach him with care!! X

Potential sighting in the Filton area, can we send an alert please?
Jpain
Sunny mead* sorry!
Jpain
Thanks Debbie. We met the boy who think he may have saw him. Sighting was near sunny dad nursing home next to the Bawa club. That's in southmead on the border to Filton. We went there last night around the field, gold course and nursing home, there are lots of hedges he may be hiding in!

Thanks Debbie for updating
