- Phoned owner, Molly is still missing, he has followed up on a few potential sightings to no avail, however he is still hopeful that she got out of the river somewhere & someone has taken her in & given her a good home, but realistic that she could be stuck anywhere in the water system leading to Cardiff Bay. Reward still offered for any news good or bad. He needs closure one way or other

- Sorry that Molly is still missing.... hope the sighting of a Spaniel was Molly and she is found safe and back home very soon.
I am trying to share to FB again, but Molly's photo is still not showing when I share, although I can see her on here? Do the settings need changing so it will bring up her photo when shared? - 2014-02-15 11:41 AlisonH
- Actual photo of Molly now added (refresh page to view)

- Ive amended the date, as Molly went missing last Saturday, the 8th. Festival Park is a shopping centre in Ebbw Vale. There is a water feature/fountain from which the water goes into an open storm drain. This drain was out of view and Molly got swept into it . Owners haven't been able to trace the plans for the drainage system, but they have been told it runs either a lake or the river Ebbw. Ive suggested postering the whole area, and along the river downstream, taking in villages et along the way. There has been an article in the local papers which is good. Her owners just want closure, and there is a reward offered, Ive emailed out advice sheets and her poster.

- How sad poor Molly, hope she is found soon xx

- Yes please Mollychops. Just had a call from the owner last night there was a sighting of a spaniel sitting on a bridge in Rhymney but it ran off in the direction of Pontlottyn. The owner drove around for ages but couldn't see the dog however he did notice that the area was very similar to where he lives (a river running alongside a railway line) and wonders if Molly is disorientated and looking for her home, if that makes sense.

- Sorry to see that URGENT MOLLY SIGHTING is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (64611)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
