This is such an amazing story. A MIRACLE that they were not killed on that busy road. Well done for taking them in and then on to safety. Thinking of them++ xx

shared to fb in Warminster - its a bit of a mystery how they got there eh! Hopefully someone will come forward about them. Not heard of any Patterdales being stolen! Lets just hope these little guys get a good home each - well done to CCH for his rescue of these little guys - awesome stuff x

Do you have an idea of their age now that the chips have been found?
DogLostMillieVW - Area Volunteer - West Wiltshire
Yay for chips, fingers crossed they're reunited quickly. I hope they double check number 4, they could have missed it, esp as the other 3 are chipped x
CCH
The pups are with the Dogs Trust in Newton Tony just north of Salisbury. They are all well and are now being looked after really well. the good news is that three of them are chipped so hopefully the Trust will be able to find out where they are from originally. Number 4 although not chipped is still a cutie and should there be no original owner then I am sure she will be able to find a loving home. thanks for all the support, advice and help. It's good to know there are so many good doggie friends out there.

What a load of cuties! I'm sure if no owner comes forward then new ones will. Thank you for keeping them safe and your Lab can go back to sleep again!xx

I do hope they will be claimed, and that they haven`t been abandoned, or am I being naive? In any case I wish people would have their pets spayed/neutered etc. Gr.......
CCH
I have been able to talk to the Dogs Trust at Salisbury and will be dropping my 4 guests off with them between 09.00 and 09.30 this morning, Saturday 15 Feb. I do hope they are reunited soon as they are lovely little pups.
Thanks again for all the help and support.
CCH
Well, I'm not sure about the age now I have recognised the breed. They are young but difficult to say. I would have thought that the owners would have come forward by now but in my naivety I didn't think they may have been stolen!
CCH
Got caught in a traffic jam on the A36 and when I saw what the hold up was I was just so shocked. The 4 little pups running up and down the A36 amongst all the traffic. It was amazing that they weren't hurt. I just hope that there were only 4 of them and we haven't missed any of them. I'm sure we didn't. They are bundles of energy and now they are not frightened out of their wits they have great personalities. Lots of fun. I call them the TUC as one goes out and they all do. Then one will come back in followed closely by the other three! Lots of laughs but a little over the top for my Labrador! Thanks to all who have offered help. It's nice to know that there are so many helpful people out there, MillieVW, Sharon and the person from Amesbury. Thanks to you all.

Poor things what we're the circumstances they were found. Are you able to keep them overnight? How old do you think they are?
DogLostMillieVW - Area Volunteer - West Wiltshire
Bless them, what circumstances did you find them in? Wondering if there any Patterdales stolen, will keep an eye out. Fingers crossed for microchips :-)
CCH
Thanks MillieVW. We will get them either to the dog's trust or Bath tomorrow. I also now believe they aren't cross bred but are Paterdales. Thanks again
DogLostMillieVW - Area Volunteer - West Wiltshire
Sorry CCH, cross posted! Ring the out of hours number, they will tell you which holding kennels they need to go. If you're OK with them tonight and they need to go to Bath, then I can pick them up from you tomorrow.
DogLostMillieVW - Area Volunteer - West Wiltshire
Text sent offering help if they're unable to keep overnight. If they can be transported to Trowbridge then I can take them on to holding kennels tomorrow, which I think are BCDH xx
CCH
Thanks to MillieVW for the offer but Trowbridge is too far in tonight's weather. Will try to get them to the dogs trust tomorrow. Thanks again

Yep as MillieVW said call out of hours dog warden in the morning.
