Just called lostdoguk. Yorkie is no longer there and as they couldn't tell me where he was sent to be rehomed it basically means he was put down after 7 days.

Please admin mark this post however necessary as lostdoguk advised the dog is no longer with them and after 7 days 'IT' becomes the prosperity of the council.

I hope the owner is found soon, I could foster if needed until owner found, I am with the yorkie and toy breed rescue. Very pleased she is found and not out in this weather.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
