So glad for everyone that she is safe. PLEASE PLEASE when using a Harness connect another lead to a decent collar so you have backup if the dog gets scared and backs out of a Harness this happens so much I reckon Harness manufacturers should put a warning on them stating that dogs can back out of them.
Ratel
So pleased for Pansie, well done to everybody.

Just did a sightings map for her but one of our brilliant fosterers tells me she is home?
lisa001
we have found her safe and sound. She ran to my husband and her best friend Trix we are so happy, thank you for your help :)

Thank you so much for everyone's help. Its a really difficult situation as Pippa aka as Pansie was only at her new adopters for a few hours before escaping. We travelled there as soon as we had the news but had no luck. I have sent posters to the new owner and still waiting for them to be printed, therefore if anyone lives in the area and can help with posters please let me know. we are so grateful for everyone help and hope and pray to get her back safe.
She did run from us when we first brought her home to be fostered but with amazing support and advice on what to do she stayed in our area and was found after three exhausting days. However this time she must be so confused she is just running. Its our worst nightmare all over again especially being so over 100 miles away from her.
Pnki
Not what we wanted but many thanks for trying to get her. The areas needs to be swamped in posters if anyone can help, not to be put on lamposts though.

Hi. I spent an hour this morning at about 1 am trying to catch this beagle as she was running up and down the A3(m) between junctions 2 and 3. She was very scared and I couldn't get near her even armed with treats. Several other motorists stopped to help (including a national express coach and a couple of truckers!) and both police and highways agency arrived to assist. I had to leave once they arrived so am not sure how they got on but it might be worth calling 101 too see if they can update. The highways agency changed all the overhead road signs to warn motorist there was an animal in the road and everybody was slowing right down which was good to see. My name is Joe Packham - you'll probably need to mention my name if you call 101 to help find any records. Good luck and please let me know if you find her.

Pansie/Pippa came out from the copse area at the back of Billy Cospe but at the other end Little Hackets. She then went along Dunsbury Way, High Lawn Way, Middle Park Way into Staunton Park (Leigh Park Gardens). There were several sightings in here but then told she was seen heading towards The West Leigh area which is the other side of Petersield Rd. However didn't have any sightings over there. Her owner and fosterers were looking until dusk and her foster dad was out all night.

We lost our dog in the Havant bowling alley area so will keep look out as we are searching still through the night. Hope you find her soon xx

Ratel she was one Tiga found I think? He is a brilliant lad and very good at finding beagles x

Hope she will be found and back home soon x

Would be very useful to know exactly where she was sighted, also perhaps details of how she was caught after previous escape.

Steve has been out this afternoon and searched all paths in Great Copse, the back of Staunton Country Park and walked around the roads locally but no sign of her, or of any posters. Suggest getting posters up everywhere as soon as possible as there is dense housing so lots of potential eyes to watch for her. Will search again tomorrow but would be useful to know exactly where she has been seen. Steve

Steve is searching Billy's Copse this afternoon, armed with lots of dog biscuits and a spare lead. Fingers crossed she stays local.
