I believe that Felek's owner has been found and he has been reunited, just waiting for confirmation.
ClaireC
Any chance of a photo of this dog please? Just thinking that if there is an owner out there they may spot him. x
Unknown
What a lousy rotten scumbag to do that to a defenceless animal. I would have grfeat pleasure in seeing the same thing being inflicted on that low life. Any offers? So pleased the dog has only superficial injuries. It does make one wonder how these people treat their families. Sending him lots of gentle (((HUGS))), cuddles.
Bo
I found the company details of the chap living in the same house and sent them to Jayne. His company is in Grantham and had a full address. If its him and he's still there then hopefully they are still in contact with each other. If it is the same Lady.
ClaireC
Always a possibility that the dog was rehomed to somebody at the Army barracks nearby and details not updated. Good suggestion of putting up posters in the area. Seems strange that he was a little dehydrated in view of the weather and i wonder if he was shut in somewhere.Last edited: 2014-02-21 17:19:20 by ClaireC

I've rung three businesses in Walsoken and left them all details, the post office, an aquatics shop and a garden centre that sells pet food. All are putting signs up. The lady in the aquatic shop is going in the direction of kirkgate Street today, and is going to put a few signs up and spread the word!Last edited: 2014-02-21 10:20:50 by Neighbark

Thought the name was unusual so looked it up and it is Polish(fits with Bo's earlier post which I've only just read!) - means Lucky - which I suppose is true as someone rescued him after his ordeal on the roadside. Looking at "streetmap" it looks as if he wasn't too far from "home" either. I'm not in the area but would it be possible to maybe put some posters/flyers out around there to see if anyone knows where he belongs.Last edited: 2014-02-21 09:35:43 by Paw

Jeanette, when I spoke to the vets where the dog had been taken initially, they told me they had rung all other vets in the area to see if the dog was registered there.
The dog was a little dehydrated, so could have been missing a few days
Liz Q
Found the MySpace one but don't seem to be able to message her. There's no posts on her profile and she has no connections either. Not a MySpace expert so don't know if I'm doing something wrong :/ x

A lovely lady on facebook has given me two possibles for Mrs Baron. One is a twitter a/c but it hasn't been used for 2 or 3 years. The other is a more current facebook profile. Have messaged both so fingers crossed... x
Jeanette
Can someone check with other vets in the areas mentioned? They probably wont give out information but could be asked to contact the owner if registered with them?

I couldn't be held responsible for my actions if I had witnessed what that sorry excuse for a human being did to this poor dog - whoever he is, needs to be caught and dealt with. Doesn't deserve to take up valuable air space on earth!! Hope Felek is reunited very soon
digbysmum
Would like to kick him in the head and toss him into a ditch. See how he likes it. Do hope this boy's owner can be traced and reunited, as soon as possible. xxxx
LindaT
Have emailed a couple of friends in the area in case they know of this person. Hopefully she will be reunited with Felek very soon. I also hope the evil driver can somehow be traced and dealt with by the police and named and shamed too gggrrrr...

Okay off to bed now....will reinstate bos comment...as I am sure owner if we can find her would not mind us stating names...
DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
Bo, I think you may have the right owner! the name Felek would tie in with the name listed with Mrs Baron.
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Sorry Bo...too much info given front of site....tx but will forward to cos to look into...tx again.
DogLostSherlock- Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - Avon & South Gloucestersh
Pity he didn't get his registration number and report him to the police....it is criminal to treat an animal this way and the driver obviously does not appreciate there are laws out there to protect them from such cruelty.
Shelagh
What an evil excuse for a human being! I hope the poor dogs owner is found. If reported sure can be traced on cctv

There are some despicable people around, call himself a human being, I don't think so! Hopefully the dog 's owners are found and thankfully his injuries are not too bad. Good job there was a kind person driving behind to rescue this poor dog. X
