- So, so relieved to hear this ....I've been tweeting crazy for all 4 of them.....they all deserve loving forever homes and I am sure with some opportunity and time the perfect ones will be found ...I will.keep tweeting without PTS being an issue.! ....not their fault for being lost, abandoned or stolen and we are their voices :) A much happier @snowbirdie I have to say xx

- Shelagh and I spoke about 20 minutes ago as Many tears were asking for the dogs details and photographs. I then rang the kennels where they are to ask what the update was as to who was at risk. The young lady I spoke to said none of these Staffy are due PTS as they are good natured and healthy and up for rehoming. I said to her can you just confirm the NONE of these dogs are due PTS as we may have rescue space and she said all are safe and are up for rehoming. XLast edited: 2014-02-22 15:51:45 by Bo

- Shelagh its got to worth trying but did send details of the 2 original staffies yesterday... then when I came back all the others were here also saying time up and all in the same place.
Not much warning but any that go to a rescue will have a chance so keep asking though I have no idea if they are looking for space or not? - 2014-02-21 11:08 Shelagh
- Sorry not been following closely been out searching are there any other rescues worth trying?

- The dog wardens scan and FL scan. Granted a chip can move or fail but, like I said, they are already doing more than they have to. I personally am nothing to do with FL and just take info from their page. Maybe the answer is for owners to ask a vet to quickly scan a dog every few months or so to make sure it's still in place/working? I don't really know how much pounds are expected to do? xLast edited: 2014-02-20 18:06:36 by Liz Q

- By law they do not have to..... Thats what has made me ask the effort that's put in to finding an owner when a dog is stolen from well outside that area.
We have one and just now I am very worried about where she might turn up or what effort they will make to find she is stolen
oh and chips can move and fail as can scanners Last edited: 2014-02-20 17:54:35 by Seeks - 2014-02-20 17:49 Liz Q
- But if he or she is chipped with up to date details, they will ring the number? x
- 2014-02-20 17:45 Seeks
- Liz Q yes it is BUT a stolen dog turns up anywhere and nobody will know if they don't look at their page on facebook

- FL keep a lot of dogs WEEKS over the time they are legally obliged to. They also post the dogs on facebook~something else they aren't obliged to do. At the end of the day it's the owners' responsibilty to tag dogs (by law) and keep chip details up to date. I know that won't sit well with a lot of people but, whatever people think of FL, they are doing more than they have to x

- I really hope they are making an effort to find his owners beyond a facebook page..... Will go and ask them actually!
