- Was the dog warden made aware of these two dogs? I notice there is a comment by the warden further down the page. I hope these two manage to find good homes in the end. x

- it will be two weeks sunday since they were first found and no one has come forward to claim them. We are now looking for permanent homes for both. However they will be asked if the owner does come forward it will be down to them whether or not they give them up. We would like the homes to be as near to huntingdon cambs as possible as would love to stay in touch with the new owners x

- Sadly if the liver one is Misty, we may not be able to trace the owner, as so far enq's have drawn a blank. She may have been owned by a homless person who's name is unknown.

- Could the black and white be a mature Kizzy 7580 ?
Could the liver and White be Misty 39377 ?
Fingers crossed :) - 2014-02-25 17:52 Helen exWGAS

- Facially the liver & white one looks like Misty, lost ref 39377, but cannot see her markings. Have sent text to Misty's owner to check this out.

- I have checked the stray reports and these dogs have not been reported to us at Huntingdonshire District Council. Please can the finder call in to register them as found on 01480 388302. Also I am not aware that Woolley is an area where dogs are frequently dumped - unless we are not being informed about them?! Steph Dog Warden.

- Well done to the finder. Taking care of two extra dogs is quite a challenge!

*there is the possibility we could be looking for two owners*
They were found near Woolley, according to finder other dogs have been reported dumped in the same area, so it is possibly a case of stolen dog rather than lost dog. Both dogs are bitches, the liver and white dog is microchipped, the vet tried to contact the numbers registered but the person wasn't the dogs owner and the registered name to the dog has since moved, so the chip is not up to date. The black bitch is not microchipped( with a dock she should be so a possible non working or found chip). Finder thinks both tails are docked( so a long dock), they are both very well trained, and we are going to be seeing if the black bitch is working ie responds to whistle as she seems very responsive. Finder will inform the dog warden today and will keep safe until reunited.Last edited: 2014-02-24 19:16:18 by ESSJ - Area Co-ordinator Rutland- 2014-02-24 12:34 Unknown
