Oh, so very sad. I am so very sorry and my thoughts are with the family at this sad time. Oliver obviously had a long and wonderful life with John and his family, who were able to bring him home and lay him to rest. It is with extreme sadness that I must inform everyone that our beloved Oliver has been brought home dead!

Oliver is home now and we can say goodbye to him.

On behalf of my family, myself and Oliver I wish to thank you all for the unbelievable support, your efforts and for helping spread the search for my old pal across the country and to the far side of the world. Oliver was one in a million, he was my pal and the love and support you have all shown will mean he has a place in history and all our hearts. Bless you all, you are all that is good with the world

Posting on facebook pets for sale in and around Worksop and lost and stolen gundogs. On the Worksop page there is a link to the rescue kennels at Deerness and also Westway vets in Newcastle upon Tyne. I have also tried to forward pictures via text message to the owners and it kept saying error - is this the correct number for the owners?

I tried messaging owner through Oliver's Lostbox listing but it kept saying there was an "error" ...so I can't...hmph!

I have had a message on lab rescue sight that a dog has been hit and taken by the RSPCA. A well cared for dog, a black lab with a grey muzzle. Just trying to find out more.. East Midlands lab rescue.

With Oliver being deaf and unable to hear people calling his name out, wouldn't Jenny and Tiga the K9 tracker be an option to try and find him?

Thornberry sanctuary had a poster from the start and are looking out for him, so he is definitely not there. John, I put a poster on notice board at entrance to Anston Stones yesterday, hope it is allowed to remain there. Also I walked some more of the golf course again yesterday. There is so much of it, and so many places for a dog to rest unnoticed.

Oliver went missing in Woodsetts which is S818AY, near Worksop on the Notts, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire border, we are so desperate to find him, please share amongst your friends, local dog groups and anyone in the world who may be able to help bring our old boy home. We have him on local radio, posters, kennels lists, Facebook, everywhere you could think of, we are so grateful to all of you trying your best to help find him. Thankyou all so much. Please continue to help find Oliver we need him back.

Ollie is still missing :( I'm just wondering is the region 'Central' correct? I would have thought North East. Not sure if it would make a difference but when I was looking to see if he is on here that's what I searched, so potentially someone that may have found him, may do the same. Wx

Big thanks to everyone who has been so busy putting up posters. Owners went to various places with posters only to find someone had already been there, and even met a search party on the golf course. Oliver is very active for his age, he is stone deaf but not decrepit, so he may have covered some ground.
