This little man has a deformed front leg, could have been from an untreated broken leg in the past. He Was hanging around in Bedford for days, cold and soaking wet before someone I know caught him, took him home then called the Dog Warden. He was understandably nervous at first, but once warmed up he was a friendly little chap. The warden said he thought travellers might have dumped him. I'm wondering if he'd been stolen - then wen they realised he was getting on a bit and had bad leg - that they then dumped him. I'll make sure the LITTLE DOG RESCUE are told about him.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
