- Sorry to see Ginfer is missing. He may have tried to get back to thew Adoption centre. Always best to keep a newly adopted cat indoors for at least a week for obvious reasons. It could be that Giner has tried to find his way back. Cats can run up to 30mph: they can travel far. Ginger is neutered so unlikely he has gone looking for a girlfriend, so he will have a smaller territory. Could be that someone has fed him en route, and has taken him in. He may be nearer than you think too. Put something with his scent on, his bedding, or anything which may have his scent on, put in a container, and place in the garden in a dry area. Put an item with your scent on too. Cats rely so much on scent. A neighbours cat went awol once for a weeek or two, only to be found not too far from home b eing fed by someoene else. Now reunited. I would suggest as advised by DL to post small "Lost" posters through as many doors as you can. Good luckx
