Bit of a long shot but I found an ad on champ dogs from someone who is missing a wheaton terrier cross greyhound a few years ago and she was 7 months old at the time. I have emailed them to look on here.

Dog found running on M1 earlier. Traffic on both carriageways stopped so he could be rescued. Who does he belong to? pic.twitter.com/e9exLrjTJP

Yes I have just written on 65457 as is the same dog. The twitter account presumed was a he but they, twitter account for Bedfordshire police, have since confirmed with me that the dog they tweeted is infact this one. They said they had called out the dog warden in their follow up tweets. I worked out it would be SDK from the location and so I sent them the link via twitter yesterday to check. I hope this makes sense. You can see the thread on my twitter account @reggiemollieros Last edited: 2014-03-03 12:53:21 by reggiemollieros

A bit of background on this lovely dog. She was picked up on Saturday on the M1 near junction 12 (they stopped the traffic both ways) by the by Bedfordshire Police who then tweeted her photo and at the time they said she was a he but have since confirmed with me via twitter that this is the same dog they saved. It might help when trying to reunite her to have this extra info. This is their twitter account @roadpoliceBCH
