What a gorgeous dog! Do we know if she's safe or still at the pound? Wish I was closer, I'd be over to scoop her up in a shot.

Great work, unfortuanly, many of these animals are used for illegal Hare coursing, and If found running down the motorway (normally fields all around) more than likely the owner will not come forward. Hope it find a nice new home if thats tha case

Well done to Bedfordshire police, for making sure she was safe: you are all stars*****. She must have been absolutely terrified. Sending her (((HUGS))). And I hope an owner comes to claim soon. Paws xd. Keep us posted.

Bit of info on this dog. She is listed already as FOUND 65430 from her listing on Bedfordshire Council's Dog Warden service SDK. I checked as the Police had tweeted "he" - male but she is female and the Police twitter account confirmed with me that was the same dog on SDK as I sent them the link to check as I had shared the tweet myself. Well done Bedfordshire police. Hope he has an owner that's looking for him, so many of these poor dogs haven't. Looks like Postcode LU4 or 5.
Shelagh
