I passed by Warmley Forrest park today....it appears she was lost in the area of the duck pond which is apparently up the hill and over the other side...I am happy to help search this area if anyone else is intending? Or do you think she has been taken out of this area as I notice lots of cyclists use the cycle way close by?
PS have you seen this?.... http://www.gumtree.com/p/pets/toy-yorkshire-terrier-8-years-old-pedigree-does-not-yap-park-ect-not-spayed-lovely-bitch/1051064712

There have been two found yorkies in the past week. NEITHER was Ruby. SG Dog wardens are in regular contact with Ruby's owner and will contact her if any dog is found or sighted that sounds as if it could be her.
debbie
I might be wrong to say this but if the owners haven't already I still think they need to visit the one found in bs15 area , if only to double check and rule out. I do apologise if they have already done this x
Lin
Just seen a post on www.animalsearchuk.co.uk saying that a very small yorkshire terrier ran into someones flat at BS15 8NP on the 5/3/14 and was collected by South Glos dog warden.

Sorry just seen further down comments someone has already spotted this .Last edited: 2014-03-11 23:51:08 by Lin

There is another Yorkie lost last night in Montpellier area - ad is on Gumtree.
Also a sighting of yorkie this morning (in Glos. Rd - source FaceBook page Lost and found pets Bristol). I did call Ruby's owner, but she believes this is the Gumtree missing yorkie (I called that dog's owner with the detail too).
Mollychops
Owner has confirmed the sighted dog wasn't Ruby.

Would love more info on media coverage. How do I call you mollychops ????
Crystal Moon
I don't know the park so googled and came up with this
"The site was once clay pits and a pipe works next to a railway line and a coal mine. If you look among the bushes you will easily find sections and fragments of glazed ceramic pipe of the sort once used for drains"
I'm presuming owner will know this. I'm wondering if she might have hidden in a piece of piping and if its not level been unable to scramble back up and out.
Does she have a dog pal that may be able to track her scent.
Sharing on my FB page and sending positive thoughts that she's safely home soon.
Mollychops
You are doing a great job Janyneee, You need to go for media coverage too pls call me

We have left Ruby's cushion and some old clothes of mine for scent if she returns nr the duck pond. I'm not giving up hope yet. Pls help if you can. Updates on Fb too. Jayne lloyd

Thanks for confirming it wasn't Ruby Furryhound x
furryhound
We are very much on the look out for Ruby. The yorkie found this afternoon in Patchway was NOT Ruby.
debbie
Have the owners of Ruby viewed the dog found as it's quite a big coincidence , she could have lost her collar and chip not picked up , it happens, Personally unless the sex of the dog is known and it's not a girl I would visit the kennels to double check x
Unknown
Hope, and pray that Ruby will be found soon. Stay safe Ruby, until you are found okay?
JP
