- Let's all remember that Axle went missing in March so he won't be appearing now or last week but will have been in the area since March. Really hope an eagle eyed Doglost helper will see Axle and he returns home. Dolly 6.2.05Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi, can you recall what part of Essex the family came from? A long shot I know, but Essex is a large county. I'm near Brentwood myself but regularly travel to most parts of south east Essex so will print off some posters.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I have emailed Both North Cornwall Dog Wardens and Dog Wardens in Essex also I have emailed North Cornwall rescue centres and Essex rescue centres. As well as Battersea London, Mayhew Animal Home and Gemini Kennels. The owners should also contact Acresway Kennels 01268 770402 , Novem Kennels 01268 726229, and Gemini Kennels 01268 725825 to check and to register Axle in that area. I have done both as it does no say if the people took Axle home with them or left him at a local rescue centre. Perhaps both areas should be coveredxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Reminds me of the case last year of Brandy from PL23 also picked up by a holiday maker from Kent-the posters worked and Brandy was found almost immediately after we had done the mailing.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I know its no comfort but at least you know he is being taken care of and that he wasn't stolen or anything. If the people who found him were sensible enough to report it to the police I'm sure he's safe with them for the meantime. I'm sure with doglost's help this one will have a good outcome. And how irresponsible of the police to lose the number - hate to say it, but typical. Come home baby xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
