- Hi Lisa. Wonderful, wonderful news. Yoiu must be so relieved to have Walter back home, safe, and sound. I expect he will be a little clingy for a while, as he must have felt so anxious being away from his loving family. Stay very close now Walter, you cutie. Please can you give Walter a (HUG) from me.

- Whoo hoo! Have just had a lovely tel call from Walter's owner. She was out searching and postering and suddenly spotted a dog that looked like him across the road. She went over and it was Walter!!! Seems this person had found him about a mile away at 2am and had taken home to keep him safe. They had not informed the dog warden although that may have been difficult to do as there's no out of hours service in the area. Anyway, Walter was delighted to see his mum and is now home safe and sound. Well done for doing so much to find him .. it really paid off and you were in the right place at the right time! Owner has only had one hour's sleep so Walter and she will have a much needed catch up now Hope we will get a reunited photo! Stay safe now Walter!

- I keep checking for any news on Walter. Is there by any chance he could be caught up or trapped somewhere near to where he went missing? I so wish I could help you search. Wishing this dear boy home xxx
- 2014-03-08 17:55 Unknown
- As Walter is blind, and must be feeling afraid, could he hace found somewhere to "Hide"? I know he cant see, but bhe may have "Sniffed", and felt his way behind a hedge, or something: just a thought.

- Wish I was near to help, but I will keep checking any sites that I can. Fingers crossed your lovely boy is home soon.

- Thanks for all your kind words. He's not at battersea. I've contacted all vets and the dog warden on her mobile no, but it says she does not work weekends. Council/Police are aware and postering like mad. Thanks everyone for sharing. Just want him back so much.
- 2014-03-08 11:54 Abe babe
- He's beautiful!.... I bet he's not far away, perhaps picked up by caring person and hasn't yet filtered through the system (especially at a weekend)..stay positive, but poster like mad and do leaflet housedrops too. Sometimes kind folk don't think to report a found animal so housedrops can help awareness with neighbours.
I wish I was nearer....x - 2014-03-08 11:39 Bobble - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset & East Sussex
- As Suzeebee says - poster like mad and stop delivery drivers. Good luck sweet Walter is home soon.

- I am so sorry that poor Walter is missing wish I were nearer to help look. Do flood the area with posters, they can be printed off from this page. I expect that some kind person will have taken him in, but not know who he belongs to. If you can, print off small cards with a photo and contact number and give to everyone you see around the area he went missing. Good Luck I hope you find this dear boy safe and sound very soon. x

- I have seen Walter being shared on twitter and have also shared. I think Lambeth don't have an out of hours service so like Claire says calling Battersea Lost Dogs line is a must http://www.battersea.org.uk/help_advice/lost_dogs_cats/lost_dogs_cats_line/
020 7627 9245 Open seven days a week 8am to 8pm.
I have shared on my vets page in Streatham as well. I hope you get some good news soon.

- Sorry to see Walter is missing. I am sure Lisa that people in the area will be searching for Walter, especially as he is blind. And posting too. Sadly I live too far away to help in that way. I will light a candle, and say a prayer for Walters safe return. Stay safe Walter, until you are found. Lisa. I know the locals will do all they can to reunite you, and Walter.
